■ The IDF continues its ground offensive in Gaza City. According to the IDF, three Hamas company commanders were killed in an Israeli strike in northern Gaza. The Hamas-controlled health ministry in Gaza claimed that Israeli soldiers surrounded the Indonesian Hospital in the city. Citing unspecified sources, the WHO chief said he was “appalled” by an attack on the hospital that he said had killed 12 people, including patients. ■ Hamas' Health Ministry in Gaza announced that it is in talks with the Red Cross about evacuating the wounded from the Indonesian Hospital but that it has yet to receive Israeli commitments regarding safe passage. ■ UNRWA announced that the number of displaced people in the Gaza Strip has reached approximately 1.7 million. ■ Forty aid trucks are expected to enter Gaza through the Rafah crossing, bringing in a field hospital sent by the UAE, the Gaza Coordination and Liaison Administration said.
