President Donald Trump is maintaining an intensive schedule of campaign rallies in the final days before the November 3, 2026 midterm elections, while early voting continues across the country.
Trump has held near-daily events aimed at boosting Republican turnout and supporting candidates in key races. Recent stops have included Ohio, Mississippi, Texas, Iowa, and other states. At these rallies, he has urged supporters to vote early and in person, emphasizing the importance of Republican control of Congress. He has also asked attendees to “pretend” he is on the ballot, linking the midterms to his administration’s record on taxes, the economy, and other issues.
On October 24, Trump cast his own early in-person ballot in Palm Beach, Florida, alongside First Lady Melania Trump. He has publicly encouraged Republicans to participate in early voting, a shift from his previous strong criticism of mail-in and early voting methods.
More than 30 million ballots have already been cast nationwide in early voting, according to data compiled from multiple states. Election Day is less than a week away, with control of both the House and Senate at stake.
Vice President JD Vance has also been active on the campaign trail, appearing in multiple states to support Republican candidates.
