The Nov. 5 election was seen not only as an overwhelming triumph for Donald Trump and his MAGA movement, but a repudiation of globalism and the Left’s attempt to remake American society with a heaping helping of George Soros cash.
So, how is Soros taking the crushing defeat?
The Heritage Foundation’s Charles “Cully” Stimson noted:
“His radical rogue social experiment is a massive failure.”
In a Nov. 12 analysis for The Washington Times, Rowan Scarborough pointed to several election daggers that were thrust into the Soros-backed experiment.
Open borders
Voters on Nov. 5 rejected Joe Biden’s “traitorous idea to open the southern border to Mexican drug cartel traffickers,” Scarborough noted. “The murderous drug pushers made billions of dollars, shipping millions of unknown foreigners illegally into our country, including hundreds of thousands of children, some destined for sex and slave labor networks.”
Soros “is the silent hand,” Scarborough continued. “His Open Society provides cash to Alianza Hispanoamericana NFP, a nonprofit that works to eliminate the U.S. Border Patrol and all enforcement.”
Soros was likely seething when Trump named Tom Homan as his border czar.
Soft-on-crime
“Soros, who lives comfortably in a protected gated compound not far from a well-funded police department, was the granddaddy of defunding the police,” Scarborough noted.
In 2021, during the height of the defund movement, Soros’s Open Society Foundation gave $4.5 million to Demand Justice, an anti-police group.
In California, “where the hedge fund operator has poured so much cash, liberal voters turned anti-Soros, saying with their ballots they want a war on criminals,” Scarborough wrote.
Californians overwhelmingly supported Proposition 36, which overrode the state legislature’s move to decriminalize shoplifting.
Voters also ousted one of Soros’s favorite and most well-funded prosecutors, Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon. Oakland-area voters kicked out the soft-on-crime prosecutor Pamela Price and Mayor Sheng Thao.
Soros is the Democrat Party
At $128 million, Soros was the top Democratic donor for the 2022 midterm elections. His Democracy PAC was a top Kamala Harris donor at $15 million, according to OpenSecrets.Org.
“What we need to realize in this Soros-Democratic Party marriage is that the Democrats slowly metamorphosed into George Soros,” Scarborough wrote.
“They fell in love with ideologies, money and power, throwing basic Americans to the curb. They and their surrogates came up with several adjectives to delegitimize those who disagree with them: Racists, patriarchy, Christian nationalists, deplorables, fascists, Nazis, un-American, and the Joe Biden favorite, ‘garbage.’ ”
Scarborough added: “When Democrats pose for photographs with Alex Soros high stop his skyscraper New York condo, they are figuratively and literally looking down on us.”
It’s important to read Soros’s blueprint, the 1998 book “The Crisis of Global Capitalism”, “to fully understand what the Soros clan wants to do to America,” Scarborough wrote. “For the freest, most powerful country in the world, he wants our destiny turned over to whacky global groups run by Third World incompetents and funded by billionaires like himself.”
Soros wrote: “It is a shocking thing, but the United States has become the most retrograde country in the world with regard to preserving all the trappings of sovereignty. … The sovereignty of states must be subordinated to international law and international institutions. We need a new international authority that transcends the sovereignty of states to promote an open society.”
Voters across America on Nov. 5 said “no” to the Soros experiment.
