The Department of Justice has confirmed it received a criminal referral from Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard detailing explosive allegations that top officials in the Obama administration “manufactured and politicized intelligence” to justify the Trump-Russia investigation following the 2016 election.

Appearing Sunday on Fox News with Maria Bartiromo, Gabbard said more than 100 documents released Friday offer “overwhelming” proof of a “treasonous conspiracy” directed from the highest levels of the Obama White House. She stated the actions took place after Trump had already won the election and that the effort was designed to subvert the peaceful transfer of power.
“The implications of this are frankly nothing short of historic,” Gabbard said. “This is not a Democrat or Republican issue. This is an issue that is so serious it should concern every single American because it has to do with the integrity of our democratic republic.”
Following her disclosures, President Trump posted a video to his Truth Social account that juxtaposed past statements by Democrats — including Obama — declaring that “no one is above the law,” followed by an AI-generated sequence in which Trump and Obama sit in the Oval Office before Obama is shown being arrested while the song “YMCA” plays in the background.
As Gabbard’s allegations gain traction, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley has announced he will release declassified records from a 2018 DOJ Inspector General report. The appendix, Fox News reported, focuses on the FBI’s investigation into Clinton’s private email server, which she used while serving as Secretary of State. Then-FBI Director James Comey publicly concluded Clinton mishandled classified material but declined to recommend prosecution.
