Greetings,
Today, Tuesday, I was buried in busy work and stayed back to accomplish as much as possible in terms of Pastor Dan’s arrangements for his final rest this coming weekend among other things. While Sister Linda and the others took to the mission church to continue the good work. Today they were able to feed 56 people meals and help with a few other things that we received from another food donation including: A variety of canned soups, dips, zucchini squash, pumpkin squash, mixed types of breads, salads, bannanas, and yogurts! For dinner Mom (Sister Linda) and my wife (Sister Danyella) made egg salad sandwiches for the main course (2 per plate) with a side of mac & cheese and for dessert each plate had 2 donuts received through donations. When they ran out of egg salad they switched to hamburger gravy on top of rice with 2 slices of buttered bread as well as green beans when the mac and cheese ran out. While we have a good amount of canned veggies and rice in the pantry we are ALWAYS in need of more food especially MEAT and FRUIT! Consider this too, the incoming months we are headed into the winter and are always needing more around this time as donations slow this season and more people are stuck in the cold without food or basic needs like gloves, hats, coats, and other warm clothing. Ask yourself, what do I need? They need what you do! Pray about supporting us in our work for The LORD to feed the people and Donate what you are able in order to help us through. You can visit messiahsbranch.org/donate for methods on how to donate, you can also send to us directly via CashApp at $MessiahsBranch. Please keep the ministry in your prayers regardless, especially at this difficult time.
I would like to apologize for the late sending today as it was very eventful. I have been so busy getting things in order for this weekend. Now for those that do not know or missed an update, Pastor Dan passed away on sabbath November the 8th while resting under hospice in his home surrounded by family. His memorial service is to be held November 15th (also sabbath) at 2pm, Viewing starts at noon located at Yazel-Megli Funeral Home in Marion Kansas. Immediately after we will go to Marion County Graveyard to have him laid to rest next to his dad Harold Vernon Catlin. Following will be the celebration of life at Marion County Lake Hall. I ask that you pray for the comfort of our family and If you wish to help the family directly you can leave a note on your donation through the links below or via CashApp $MessiahsBranch. ANY LITTLE BIT HELPS MORE THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE! Thank you all for taking the time to stay tuned and be blessed.
