This comes as leftist groups plan to hold over 1,800 anti-ICE demonstrations across the nation. Already, violent riots are taking place in major U.S. cities where leftists say they’re standing in solidarity with the insurrectionists in Los Angeles.
Leavitt, on Wednesday, was asked about the President’s statements and whether the President would allow peaceful First Amendment activity by NOTUS correspondent Jasmine Wright.
Leavitt responded, “Of course, the President supports peaceful protests,” calling it a “stupid question.”
This generated to audible gasps from some of the leftist correspondents in the room and a look of irritation from Wright. It was pretty funny.
The protests are almost never peaceful, though. Rioters in Los Angeles have begun *looting businesses* <www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/06/video-mass-looting-begins-los-angeles-gas-stations/>, in addition to lighting cars on fire across the city, throwing Molotov cocktails, attacking law enforcement, destroying police cars, and hurling explosives at an ICE facility.
