*A NEW COVENANT NEVER “NULLIFIES” A PREVIOUS ONE*
*➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖*
*Nowhere throughout the scriptures, does one covenant nullify another covenant. The New Covenant likewise did not nullify the entirety of the Old Testament (and all of the covenants therein) It’s the heretical man made traditions and the false doctrines of churchianity that lead people into that mindset. *
*The promise to Eve in Genesis 3:15 was not abrogated/nullified/abolished when God made a the covenant with Noah…*
*Genesis 3:15*
*“And I will put enmity*
*Between you and the woman,*
*And between your seed and her Seed;*
*He shall bruise your head,*
*And you shall bruise His heel.”*
*The covenant to Noah in Genesis 9:9-11 was not abrogated/nullified/abolished when God made a promise to Abraham…*
*Genesis 9:9-11*
*“And as for Me, behold, I establish My covenant with you and with your [a]descendants after you, 10 and with every living creature that is with you: the birds, the cattle, and every beast of the earth with you, of all that go out of the ark, every beast of the earth. 11 Thus I establish My covenant with you: Never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood; never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.”*
*The promise/ covenant to Abraham in Genesis 12 & 15 was not abrogated/nullified/abolished when God made a the covenant with Israel…*
*Genesis 12 *
*“Now the Lord had said to Abram:*
*“Get out of your country, From your family*
*And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you. 2 I will make you a great nation;*
*I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing.3 I will bless those who bless you,*
*And I will curse him who curses you;And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”*
*Genesis 15:18*
*On the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying: “To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates” The covenant with Israel in Exodus 19:5-6 and Deut 29:1 was not abrogated/nullified/abolished when God made a the covenant with David…*
*Exodus 19:5-6*
*“Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. 6 And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel.”*
*Deuteronomy 29:1*
*These are the words of the covenant which the Lord commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the land of Moab, besides the covenant which He made with them in Horeb. The covenant with David in 2nd Sam 7 has not been abrogated/nullified/abolished. 2 Samuel 7:12-16*
*“When your days are fulfilled and you rest with your fathers, I will set up your seed after you, who will come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom. 13 He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. 14 I will be his Father, and he shall be My son. If he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men and with the [d]blows of the sons of men. 15 But My mercy shall not depart from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I removed from before you. 16 And your house and your kingdom shall be established forever before [e]you. Your throne shall be established forever.” *
*So, does one covenant nullify a previous covenant? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold {establish/stand on} the law.” *
*The Holy Spirit is there to cause us to obey and recall the things of the Father, and the covenants He has made with His people.*
